Hey! So who liked the fireworks Saturday night? Yeah, I did some of those. :D It was like an early birthday party! Oh, yeah, I'm legal now! I... am always amazed at how I never feel any different after a birthday, ha.

I'm surprised the Magypsies didn't make me take them out to dinner again this year. They're not really big on holidays, but they do like looking for any reason for a night on the town. :D Then again, they are getting ready to reopen the Birdcage (and they STILL won't let me inside, dammit!), so they're probably busy. Oh well!

*Kumatora got Ana a- what else?- gift certificate to a little dress shop that had just opened she saw in town. But she also got a little pink teddy bear to hold it so that totally counts as an actual present, you guys.*

*Lucas, having exclusive BFF status, gets an actual present for his birthday from Kumatora. She got him some DCMC swag that she might have swiped out of Duster's dorm like some t-shirts and wristbands and shoelaces and stuff. This was all neatly arranged in a large afro wig flipped upside down like a makeshift basket. Hey, gotta give her points for creativity.*

Heh, I called the Birdcage this morning and Ionia the First said that they weren't leaving. Hell, they're not even cutting back hours! I guess being immortal helps you not to panic! Can't imagine they're gonna get much business, though.
But that's not the best part! They told me I didn't have to evacuate if I didn't want to! Okay, granted, they actually said that they knew I would run off and fight even if they told me not to, BUT THE POINT IS I have permission to stay and fight, whoo!
I can't wait to kick some ass!
